Asset
Management
Managing
your assets (trust fund, real estate, stocks, etc.) involves
a lot of fundamental investment strategies. What you are
probably looking for in an asset management company is
someone who will sit down with you and able to understand
your needs and goals. You need a company that is dedicated
to give you the most personal attention at every level. Are
they on the cutting edge of a focused development approach?
Do they have a clearly defined mission statement that fits
your needs?
Before you deal with an asset management company, take a few
minutes and list your goals and objectives and what you
expect to achieve. List your assets by categories, i.e.
stocks, real estate, mutual funds, cash, etc. List your
liabilities as well, because it will also affect the
strategies you will implement for managing your assets. Come
up with a mission or vision statement of your own. This will
help focus your attention on what it is you want to do in
5-10 years and beyond.
Good luck!
