Acne
Acne
or pimples can simply be described as blockage of the
follicles or pores of your skin due to oils in your skin.
Normally, the oils or Sebum drain to the surface. When they
get blocked, bacteria begins to grow. What is not fully
understood is why process takes place in one sebaceous gland
versus another.
Causes of adult acne and teen acne may include hormones,
diet, evolutionary biology, vitamin deficiency, stress, and
more. The real explanation may be a complex mix of many of
these factors. Since it is not known how or what causes
pimples, it is probably best that you seek true and trusted
treatments and begin a regiment to keep your skin clean and
free of bacteria.
The type of treatment you use to treat your acne will depend
on the severity. If you have an acute case, you may just
need to use cleansers to move accumulated oil, make-up,
sweat, and dirt on the surface of your skin. Most acne
patients will only need to cleanse with such products once
to twice daily. If, however, your case of acne is quite
severe, you should seek a dermatologist immediately. They
can prescribe treatments that will prevent scarring and
prevent further inflammation.
The internet provides lots of information on acne. Do your
research and seek professional help in dealing with your
acne.
